Is Good Eastern a sports bar?
Yes. We're Rotorua's home of sport, with the biggest screen in town in the bar, screens right through the venue and full sound from every seat.

What sport do you show?
Live UFC, Super Rugby, NPC, the All Blacks, NRL, AFL, NFL, boxing, cricket and every major event. The week's line-up goes up on our Facebook and Instagram every Monday.

Can I book a table to watch a game?
Yes. Book online with the Book button at the top of the page, and book early for the big ones.

What are your opening hours?
Monday to Wednesday from 3pm, and Thursday to Sunday from 12pm. The kitchen opens at the same time, and last food orders are 8.45pm.

What food do you serve?
A menu built for game day: burgers, loaded fries and nachos, our foot-long FootDogs, salads, mains, and the Ultimate Game Day Platter, which feeds 4 to 6. There are gluten-free and dairy-free options.

What's on each week?
Monday is Bingo at 6.30pm and Tuesday is Quiz Night at 6.30pm. Wednesday is the Bullseye Jackpot. Thursday is the free pool comp and Beat the Bomb. On Sunday we have Sunday Sessions live music from 1.30pm and Kids Eat Free.

Are kids welcome?
Yes. We have a kids' menu and high chairs. On Sundays kids 12 and under eat free: one kids' meal per full-paying adult, dine-in only. Some games nights are 18+.

Do you host functions and Christmas parties?
Yes. We host groups of 12 to 250 across six spaces, from the heated all-weather Courtyard to the whole venue, with platters and custom menus. Send us an enquiry on the Functions page.

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. You can buy them online from $10 to $200 on our Gift Cards page.
